Many targeted drugs are tablets, but antibody treatments, such as trastuzumab for HER2-positive breast cancer or rituximab for lymphoma, are given by drip or injection under the skin. Antibody–drug conjugates, which carry chemotherapy directly to cancer cells, are also given by drip. A useful clue: drug names ending in "-nib" are usually tablets, while those ending in "-mab" are antibodies given by drip or injection.
