If there is no back pain, kidney cancer is impossible?

Small kidney tumours are usually painless. Pain in the side is more likely with larger tumours, and is not needed for a diagnosis.

The kidney has few pain nerves inside it, so a small tumour usually causes no pain. Pain in the side tends to appear only when a tumour is large, or causes bleeding or blockage.
