After the whole thyroid is removed, a daily levothyroxine tablet replaces the hormone the gland used to make. Once the dose is right, checked with blood tests, most people feel completely normal, work, exercise and, for women, can have healthy pregnancies.
లెవోథైరాక్సిన్ ఎలా వేసుకోవాలిTaking levothyroxine
- రోజుకు ఒకసారి, ఖాళీ కడుపుతో, టిఫిన్‌కు అరగంట నుంచి గంట ముందు వేసుకోండి
- కాల్షియం, ఐరన్, ఎసిడిటీ మాత్రలను దానికి కనీసం నాలుగు గంటల దూరంలో వేసుకోండి
- డాక్టర్ సలహా లేకుండా మాత్ర ఆపకండి, మోతాదు మార్చకండి
- మీరు గర్భవతి అయితే లేదా గర్భం ప్లాన్ చేస్తుంటే డాక్టర్‌కు చెప్పండి, తరచుగా మోతాదు మార్చాల్సి ఉంటుంది
- Take it once a day, on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast
- Keep calcium, iron and antacid tablets at least four hours apart from it
- Don't stop or change the dose without your doctor's advice
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, as the dose often needs adjusting
