Bleeding after intercourse is always due to infection or a minor injury?

Bleeding after intercourse can be caused by infections, a polyp on the cervix, or a harmless change in the cervix's surface. But it is also one of the most common symptoms of cervical cancer and its precancerous changes. A doctor can examine the cervix and carry out a screening test.
