Once a screening test is normal, there's no need to repeat it?
Screening intervals depend on the test, age, risk and previous results. A normal test doesn't give lifelong protection.

A normal result is a relief, and it can feel like the job is done.
What the evidence shows
Screening reflects only the moment it was done. New changes can develop over the following years, so each test is repeated at recommended intervals.
