Once sarcoma treatment is finished, follow-up isn't needed?

Sarcomas are most likely to return in the first few years, usually at the original site or in the lungs, and finding a return early gives more treatment options. Some treatments can also have late effects: certain chemotherapy medicines can affect the heart, hearing or kidneys, and treatment can affect growth, fertility and the long-term function of implants.
